Exciting find. Was flying pretty high and was having trouble with id until I noticed the head was grayish and about the lightest thing on the bird. Had to wait for the light to hit him/her just right to see color since it was backlit. Got photos of general silhouette with pointed wings and fanned tail. Kept circling high but moved to the SE.
