Spent the morning at the high school and the late afternoon at pickfair. From the high school, saw the dark buteo with the kiting and diving behavior with others. I believe the first two photos here are of that bird. They seem to show some uplift to the wing edges and some bend in the carriage of the leading edge of the wing. The last two pictures are from pickfair around 15:15. For this hawk, i lean toward dark morph broad-winged, due to a heavier-looking light tail band, little lift to the wings, straighter leading edge, and the wingtips coming to a fair point. Unsure about the first two; was hoping for more field marks to rule out other dark hawks.
