Surprised to find. Markings initially made me think immature Lark Sparrow. Broad, white wing patch on side when folded, and white near and behind lower bill look like photos of immatures found on Merlin Ap! I’ve seen these in Montana and Kansas, but mostly in breeding plumage. Photos to add when I get home.
