NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 6. Bulk reel: 137 Weather: Fair. Bird ~ 1 km west of camp, near where Scythebill was collected. All is after bird was brought in close by whistled imitation of its song , or in a), after playback. a) In this part the "song" of Lipaugus vociferans (several birds) is quite prominent. Toward latter part hear more faintly Formicarius colma, Thamnophilus murinus. Quality: 1. Level: 0. b) In this the background birds are not as loud and in final part even less so and this has some nice other background sounds and a "quiet" level. Quality: 1. Level: 0. Response to playback: Approach.
