NOTES: Songs from a rock and in flight. Nagra 3; 24" reflector. LNS: The subject of this recording was changed from Anthus spinoletta to A. rubescens to reflect current taxonomy. -Matt Medler, 31 March 2010. [Based on the sounds alone, this appears to represent both Song and the "Tail-up" Call of BNA, as follows: Song - 0:15-0:19 (decapitated), 0:36-1:16 (Complete, but handling noise and relatively poor signal), 1:40-1:44 (decapitated), 2:06-2:13 (decapitated and possibly ending with "Tail-up" Call), 2:15-2:40 (decapitated but good signal), 2:58-3:20 (decapitated and with an unseparated start-stop at 3:07 - also possily an embedded "Tail-up" Call 3:02-3:04), and 3:21-3:25 (decapitated; "Tail-up" Call - 0:20-0:35 (decapitated), 1:34-1:37 (possibly beginning with a few song elements, but decapitated), 1:54-2:00 (decapitated), and 2:42-2:53 (decapitated and with handling noise).
