NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 1. Bulk reel: 120; Weather: Fair. a) Another bird of pair is heard in background in song and call, some other interference in places, especially Tapera naevia. Quality: 1-2. Level: 5. b) Song and calls, fairly clean although what apparently is Myrmeciza longipes comes in strong at a couple of places. Qualtiy: 1. Level: 4. c) Song (with Cyclarhis gujanensis prominent in background). Also clearly heard is Thamnophilus punctatus. Quality: 1-2. Level: 5. (additional written notes not necessarily applicable to this cut are found in the Schwartz hard copy file as an attached page to the Neotropical Institutes Cercomacra cinerascens cuts 1and 2 including a comment at the head of the C. cinerascens data "Ojo!! See also Taraba major cut #4b and Thryothorus coraya cut #1a".
