Feeding young and attempting to get them to fledge. Dad has been outside the next box nearby for over a week. Mom was in nest box opening in the morning but did not observe again until evening. Mom and Dad were outside nest box nearby trilling mostly continuously mid afternoon onward. Spotted third chick this evening.. Parents appeared to be withholding food to get them to fledge, nonetheless, at about 8:20 one parent came to nest and feed one chick. The female came back to the nest and went inside then perched in nest box opening. The young appear healthy, active, alert, very interested in sounds and movements. Still have lots of down, so not sure of their flight ability. Nonetheless, estimate fledging by end of this week.
