Détails de l'observation
I noticed a large bird with raised wings circling high to the north, roughly over Foster Ave. I initially assumed it was a TUVU, but when I looked with my binocular I realized immediately that it was yet another SWHA! It was smaller than a TUVU, with strongly pointed wingtips and pale underwing coverts contrasting with dark remiges. I watched it circling for a couple of minutes, trying (and failing) to get a decent photo, before it drifted out of sight. It never flapped and flew much more steadily than a TUVU would, without any wobble. This has been a heck of a spring for SWHA here (one was seen about a mile west at close to the same time yesterday).
