Détails de l'observation
Maybe slightly early. Empid that was larger/bulkier than a nearby Dusky-type. Tail relatively short in appearance, but with a wide base, rather uniform width over length of tail. Eye-ring very thin, but complete (Alder-like) and not always visible. Moderately sized bill forming a more shallow forehead angle with a slightly crested appearance to crown, peaking towards rear. Wing bars were fairly dull and low contrast. Medium to longish primary projection. Whitish throat and generally whitish underparts with a slight yellowish wash to belly. This all contrasted pretty strongly with upper parts which showed fairly green when in direct light. When sitting, this bird was still than many empids with less tail twitching, held tail fairly straight generally. No vocalizations heard.
