Commentaires
A mixed singing bird giving Chiffchaff song with occasional Willow Warbler flurries, however, later in its stay it sand much more like a Willow Warbler with the occasional 'chiff-chaff' hence its recording here as a Willow Warbler.
Détails de l'observation
Main reason for this quick visit was to sound record a mixed singing Willow Warbler which has been claimed by some as a putative Iberian Chiffchaff. The bird was giving rather exaggerated 'chiff-chaff' notes often followed by Willow Warbler notes but with fairly long phrases with straightforward Chiffchaff song. An interesting bird as later in its stay the bird changed its song to a more regular Willow Warbler song with occasional Chiffchaff flourishes hence its recording here as a Willow Warbler.
