*unusual; first observed when they flushed from the central water retention area at 3:15 PM. Flushed two more times by airport ops while they did runway inspections. The flock circled the airfield for over 15 minutes occasionally landing near runway 23. - Medium-sized shorebirds with pale gray bodies and underwings, small heads, and long primaries. Photos to be added. - Vocalizing consisted of the "tu-leek" call as well as the classic long drawn out "ko-weee" call. Very vocal group.
