Détails de l'observation
Continuing bird originally found by J. Uffman this morning at a much closer distance. Large 1cy gull with all dark bill, and uniform light creamy head, mantle, and wings. Appearance similar to a heavy billed 1cy light Iceland Gull. Bird was often loafing and preening about 100yds out in Lincoln Shields or flying along the main channel of the Mississippi River near the Ardent Mills and Argosy Casino. Could not get in flight photos, but was able to get several digiscopes of the bird at rest. This bird is still under review of potential GWGUxWEGU hybrid due to the darker tail band, but wanted to get additional reports out there for updates.
