Détails de l'observation
Continuing absolutely stunning alternate male. Working the strange exotic trees as well as dead sycamores from here: (33.6801540, -117.7954256) west to here: (33.6796498, -117.7961833). Calling frequently; a strange YEWA type chip but less loud and not as high pitched. Bright yellow cap, white forehead, very thick black supercillium, thick black vertical stripes on sides of throat, gorgeous chestnut sides/flanks, rest of face and underparts white, bright, light yellowish wingbars, greenish wing panels(?), greenish rump, back a stunning but hard to describe pattern of black, white, and greenish yellow. Relatively short tail, white UTCs and undertail mostly whitish gray. Medium length but relatively thick bill, mostly gray overall. Legs a dark gray(or black?). Many photos and might have a poor recording.,
