Détails de l'observation
Amazing!!! Huge flyover flocks passing by for nearly 20min, with smaller flocks continuing to fly over periodically for the next ~1hr. First large flocks roughly counted by 50s, then smaller flocks counted more closely. I feel this is still likely low/conservative. Some poor phone pics to illustrate flock size, though I was mostly carefully picking through the flocks for rogo. Three blue morphs, impressively! My first blues in Yakima. This count surely exceeds the total number of snow geese I had seen in Yakima county prior to today by a considerable amount. They have been becoming much more regular in the Yakima valley in recent years. I missed a considerable amount of this flock presumably, as I was napping on the couch and woke up to the sound of honking!
