Détails de l'observation
Great find by Don Clark. In a flooded cornfield with CAGOs and Mallards when I arrived. The geese were flying to the river in small groups. Swan with rounded head and black bill with slight concave curve, unlike flatter head and long straight bill of Trumpeter. Yellow lore spot. Forehead more or less straight across at bill, unlike V shape of Trumpeter. I watched it thru my scope for a few minutes, and then was only able to get a few shots with my camera before it took off with a large group of mostly Mallards. It flew north and I could not relocate in the river or the fields.
