Détails de l'observation
Molting adult (photographed). A large peep, much larger than the surrounding LESAs, with long primaries that extend well past the tail tip. Mostly gray, with a streaky gray bib (appeared hooded), narrow streaks down the flanks, and a pale supercilium. Complete white rump band, without dark uppertail coverts. Round-headed with a fairly thick, short, distinctly curved bill. Mottled gray and black upperparts. Rare anywhere in the South during fall migration (away from Florida and the Atlantic Coast), as it’s an East Coast migrant in the fall. I think there's only been one other fall WRSA so far this year in Tennessee. Approx here: (35.0618721, -90.1372899)
