Détails de l'observation
A pair flew in and perched on the top of a sycamore, calling repeatedly. One bird had a completely yellow head, pale bill, and matching cere. The other also had a pale bill and cere, and a partially yellow head. It had large yellow teardrops around the eyes that connected at the forecrown, giving the bird a masked appearance. Perhaps a subadult, perhaps Amazona sp.? They both sounded like Yellow-headed Parrots. They flew off after a few minutes but I could hear them in the area for another 10 minutes. No pics but I got a lousy recording with my phone
