Détails de l'observation
I was at 33°52'53.8"N 118°03'51.1"W watching a flock of warblers and nuthatches in the trees in the middle of Bloomfield Avenue when I noticed one warbler that stood out. It had dark wings and appeared very pale yellow, and my first thought was Blackpoll or Bay-Breasted. However, when I snapped a few pictures, I realized that it had dark auriculars similar to those of Townsend's. It looked similar to a Townsend's, but it lacked a bright yellow face, black throat, and green back. I think Blackburnian Warbler is the most likely candidate, but I will gladly correct my observation if I am wrong. Photos to follow.
