Détails de l'observation
Flew into the bittersweet and privet patch at the end of the road near the abandoned house at about 9:15, stayed for a minute and flew north where it wasn’t relocated. Photos Notes about access: The park manager has graciously allowed birders to look for this bird in an otherwise restricted area of the park. To access this site you must pay for parking or have an annual pass, and then check in with the visitor center and tell them that you are looking for the bird. After stopping at the visitor center continue down Brent Point Road past the bend and the driveway. There will be two gates on the left side of the road marked with state park plaques. Park in front of the second gate (the one with a lock). Cars parked on the road or cars without proof of payment displayed will be ticketed. While on the property, make sure to stay on the old road bed. There are many hazards such as uncovered wells and unsafe buildings. The property lines aren’t well marked and it can be easy to cross on to private land if you wander off of the trail.
