December 11th edit: After seeing photos from Rusty Trump of a small-billed Common Loon he photographed while on the lake tonight, I think it might be the bird that I saw. Although the bill on my bird is tiny, the head appears to be blocky and I'm just not 100% confident that it was a Pacific. If there is a Pacific on the lake, hopefully it will stick around and be be documented without a shadow of a doubt! Original comments: Continuing bird, seen all the way across the lake basically due east of the point at West Bank Park. The bird was right on the shoreline and I immediately noticed the smaller bill, more rounded head, and hooded appearance compared to the Commons. I took a lot of poor phonescoped footage that I’ll add to the list later.
