I'd been keeping an eye out since hearing of a report on Stellwagen Bank. Hard to tell based on photos of the Stellwagen bird if it's the same individual but it certainly seems...probable. First noticed by another researcher, we observed it for approximately five minutes as it cruised over from the direction of Prout's Neck and circled the pond for a few minutes before the local terns encouraged it to keep on cruising. It appeared to head back in the direction of Prout's Neck but trees on the island made it difficult to determine its course.
