Commentaires
Typical song of a Cerulean Warbler, with the upward buzzy trill at the end of the song. About 20 seconds between song stanzas (heard near the beginning and end of the recording).
Détails de l'observation
Singing male heard along the trail where Acadian Flycatchers were formerly regularly seen and heard. High in tall trees, occasionally caught glimpses of it as it moved between songs, but not enough to get fieldmarks. Recordings were obtained - best will be uploaded. For several minutes it sang about every 20-25 seconds. After getting my best recording (closest proximity) I tried playing back its own song to see if it would come down closer, but flew about 100 m east. Could still hear it regularly even from that distance.
