Commentaires
Not very familiar with this species, but song sounds like a Type A western trill. Only very few females sing, so calling this bird a male.
Détails de l'observation
Looked for it for 10 mins, it was singing. Recorded. Never saw the bird, was focused on recording the MGWA also singing in the recording. Sounds like the Type A trill for a western bird, ending in a short pip note. Bird was ID'd by the Merlin Sound ID app, and since there was often no other overlapping sound/noise, we were inclined to believe Merlin's suggestion. The Parula is singing at 10s, 18s, 29s, 38s, 47s, 56s, for a song rate of 6/min, each song is about 1.2s long.
