Détails de l'observation
1 male that I saw initially and, with surprise, announced its name, then rapidly was able to capture a photo of this one male....(and was pleased that Paul Regnier was then able to also share this enchanting (and surprise) visit of this normally more SW WI breeding Parulidae species.....Hence, given its presence today here, I speculate that a south wind blew it farther than its normal stopping point in SW WI and in several other father south/southeast USA states where it is more commonly seen. Singing ensued as we watched it....Spectacular and invigorating to watch it feed in similar habitat to where it nests: Close to the water under branches that were 100' west of the two benches that are 120' south of the bathroom near the shoreline facing Fish Creek.
