Détails de l'observation
Very dark slim falcons. Narrow winged. Distant, no white could be seen at all. Very dark, but distant and back lit. Could not see any pale on underparts, and no streaking. Several distant photos taken. One that I adjusted for lighting seems to show entirely reddish underparts. I don't know this species at all, but have seen Hobby several times, and it struck me as a much darker bird. There were two soaring together, and unfortunately they did not come close at any point. Originally identified as Oriental Hobby, but after seeing Amur Falcon (although juv) on my last trip to Bhutan, I am confident that this is what these were. I remember looking at them and a resemblance of color pattern of Mississippi Kite (not shape, but color pattern) was noted, and this also is a good match.
