Détails de l'observation
Same seven birds we spotted at location beforehand but this time it was NUTZ! Again, I believe Chris W spotted a few birds to the south of us, we stopped, got a few looks and then they disappeared. We then got back into the car, turned around, and a few condors showed back up. The whole group got out, we walked out to the prairie and all of a sudden the whole group of seven condors appears above the hill to the west of us and proceeded to circle over us about 50-60 feet above us for a short bit and the trailed off to the south. They then came back and again circled over us briefly before heading east and out of sight. A completely magical experience with Chris W noting that it was the best views he has had yet of the birds flying in the wild since being released in Humboldt County. Photos to be added later.
