Détails de l'observation
Simply incredible, even if it probably is human-assisted in some way. Continuing owl seen on the chimney of 6406 Sapian Street(or 6416, I can’t remember). Seen with 40-50 others, people came and went. The owner of the house that the bird was on was very friendly and allowed us to get excellent looks(thank you!). This was an immature female, I believe. Very large white owl with brown spots/bars throughout the plumage except for the face, but the spots/bars were densest on the back. Pure white face, bright yellow eyes were only seen quickly, as the bird often had its eyes closed or didn’t have them fully open(only once or twice did jt). Thanks to Tom Wurster for letting me look through his scope. Since it’s probably human-assisted in some way, I won’t officially count it on my life list, but still worth it to see. Photos to be added.
