Détails de l'observation
Continuing adult bird that has caused some debate over it’s purity of lineage. This can be debated over with just about every individual found at this time of year outside of the normal range. It is likely that many of the birds in this part of the continent may not be pure bred. This bird had a bright red eyes and mostly pinkish facial and throat skin. No obvious hint of a white trim around the facial skin. The parts of the legs that were visible had a pink hue to them. These field marks ruled out Glossy Ibis and pointed to White-faced Ibis. Now the “experts” can debate if it is a pure White-faced Ibis.
