Rounded "buffalo hump" in the foraging profile. Barring on the sides, white edging of feathers on the back is indicative of long-billed dowitcher.
Détails de l'observation
Foraging with a sewing machine like probing motion. About the size of a killdeer, maybe larger. There are a couple of tertial feathers that are unmarked gray and the others are not boldly marked, which is indicative of a long-billed dowitcher. The feathers in the vent area look white in one photo but actually have a reddish blush seen in another photo. The feathers on the back are outlined in white, not blush colored. Barring on the sides. The foraging profile shows a round hump. also indicative of long-billed. Initially I thought the freshwater habitat was an indicator for LBDo over SBDo, but I was informed by an expert that generally applies to the Winter breeding grounds.
