Détails de l'observation
Large white crane, with black primaries when flying. Black triangular patch extending from gape, red patch on forehead, black patch on the back of the head, very large lighter bill. Legs black. No bands or tags visible. First seen at north end of pond 3 at about 300 m, but when I started to set up the scope it flew to the far side (west) side of the pond, about 800 m. Digiscoped from that distance. Preened and stood around for 15 minutes, then flew to the area around one of the islands where it start to actively hunt. Interestingly, all other birds AWPE, GBHE, CANG and ducks gave it a wide berth or flew away when it approached. Still there when I checked one and a half hours later.
