Détails de l'observation
The Rails stayed in the ravine area at the edge of the yard and were seen most every day year round. When the bananas ripened, the two birds seemed to be almost addicted to the bananas. They would start circling the yard for at least a week before the bananas ripened, and when ripe, the birds were there almost all day, often taking turns. When not in the bananas, they would hide beneath the overhanging ginger foliage or in the edges of the yard. They were always skittish and would dash away at the slightest sound or movement. The chickens also served as 'warnings' - if they chickens 'cackled' and darted away, so did the wood rails.
