Commentaires
Slender-billed Finch has two noticeably different song types. One is a descending and accelerating series of notes that end in in a very characteristic churr. The one that features on this recording is probably less characteristic, but it was what I mostly heard during this visit.
Détails de l'observation
Heard and seen, but they resisted to being photographed. I did make a recording of their song, which reminds a bit the song sing of a saffron finch, very different from the their more typical call. This species is known to be present at this location and is easily recognized: a slender dark grey finch with a slender orange bill and orange tarsi. Face slightly darker than the remainder of the body, almost black.
