I was appropriately far from this Osprey, who flew onto the beach, landed with a massive catch, and continued to enjoy eating it for over 30 minutes. Gulls came in a harassed it, stealing bites right out of its mouth, the surf even tried to steal the fish a few times. But Osprey held on and ate, until a man ran by and almost kicked the bird, so oblivious to what was right in front of him. The Osprey flew away then and the gulls got the leftovers. All photos taken while I was sitting on the beach, quite some distance away, with a long zoom lens.
