Sorry for the bad quality of the pictures but taking photos through the branches Eastern Red Cedar is somewhat challenging. Notice the overall grayish-brown color and white tail edge.
Détails de l'observation
First noticed the unusual song coming from the Cedar row/brush-pile area at the back of the "forest" , in the same area as I saw another individual 2-3 years ago. Medium sized wren with grayish overall color(unlike the rich reddish-brown of Carolina), distinct white supercilium , and long dark tail with white border that was constantly flipped around. There has been a Carolina Wren around the past two days(but not today) and this bird's vocalizations and plumage were entirely different . Got some okay photos showing white tail edge as it was preening in a Cedar within ten feet of me and also a short video of its song that I will post later.
