Détails de l'observation
Usually this bird is a skulker, coming out in the open only for a fraction of a second. So a small note on how I could manage to get it on open perch. I found the bird to be very territorial. Normally it was foraging at near to water level. But whenever any other bird like prinias or cisticolas or paddyfield warblers were entering its zone, instantly it was chasing them and flushing them out. As the prinias and cisticolas usually perch in the open, the bbrw was climbing up along these rigid sticks for upto 5 to 6 feet, then scouting the area for any foes and then jumping after them. So that moment was perfect to get it out on a single stick. I got some good views after spending an hour and half at the location.
