Détails de l'observation
First observed a duck flying by just above the river at close proximity, headed South. I immediately noticed the lack of white in the tail of this bird, and I got binocular views of the bird as it flew upriver and landed on the opposite shore. The lack of white and the completely brown tail really stood out to me, so I decided to check it out and get some photos to make sure I had a Mexican. When I got as close to it as I could, it was still relatively far and in horrible lighting, but still I observed zero white or curl in the tail, an olive-yellow bill, and otherwise MEDU features, with nothing that suggested MALL. Photos.
