Not very far past the sisters. As the fog lifted it became clear to me with its downward angled bill, Black wingtips, large size and ponderous wingbeats. Possibly one or two extremely poor photos. County bird! Either it made a couple of passes back and forth or there were two or more patrolling the bay. Not sure.
