Détails de l'observation
See photos. I saw this compact warbler in eucalyptus trees on the golf course in fading afternoon light. I thought it could be a TEWA instead of the more expected OCWA, but before I could get great looks I had to move for golfers and then the bird vanished. I managed to take these two photos, though, and they appear diagnostic to me -- specifically, the long, pale undertail coverts, the short tail, and the very fine bill, as well as the compact shape. In all these respects the bird looks like a Tennessee and not like the more expected Orange-crowned.
