Initially put in checklist as Sparrow sp. but a more experienced birding friend suggested LISP and after checking more photos online, it looks like a good fit. The plumage pattern, thin eye ring, buffy malar and fine streaking still visible in overexposed undersides (more visible on home computer, especially when zooming in).
