Détails de l'observation
Curious sounding song. Obtained recordings. Off white to pale gray lower breast, belly, and undertail. Blackish tail with slight notch. Unable to see head or back. Inconclusive about ID at this time. Song a very high pitched trill with an insect or cricket like quality. Trill a bit choppy - like tit-tit-tit-tit-ti-tit-ti-ti-tit-ti-ti-ti. Song notably higher pitched compared to singing Orange-crowned. Atypical song for an Orange-crowned but not like a typical Tennessee song either. Drab coloration could be of a Tennessee or a celata or orestera type Orange-crowned.
