Commentaires
The first bird in this recording is the presumed female Sedge Wren based on behavior. When it came in, the singing (presumed male) did not respond aggressively, but instead went down into the grass with it. Male starts singing later in recording.
Détails de l'observation
**Rare and local migrant / breeder. First detected a single bird that called once. Then this bird started singing with great vigor, perching up in open for minutes at a time. I needed to get back for a meeting, and as I returned along the edge of the south field I found another singing bird. As I was recording the second, a presumed female came in calling below the singing bird and the two disappeared together into the grasses. At one point, the first bird also did a brief aerial display.
