Détails de l'observation
Female with no red on the nape, pure yellow under wings and tail. No orange. Brown crown but somewhat indistinct as it went down the back of the neck. Sibley's state that some intergrades can closely resemble Gilded. That, at least, seems to be the case here. Given how unlikely a Gilded would be and that some intergrade variety is possible and more likely, the safest conclusion would be to just call it a Northern Flicker intergraded with some other flicker subspecies or variety.
