Détails de l'observation
Making repeated short, flat whit calls; was interacting with another bird that perhaps was another least? Originally listening to Sibley app thought this sounded more like least than willow, but later listening to Pieplow’s recordings, it seems it could be either based on the call heard. However, front-view pics that seem to show more substantial eye ring than willow would have (but really it is a bit hard to judge the eye ring from the view that was available), and also shows long, thin tail that tapers in middle (which I believe is a trait of least as compared to willow.) A bit later in same area heard a different, more emphatic whit call, but never saw bird (see empid. Sp. record on this checklist.)
