Commentaires
Dusky Flycatcher at this season is at its brightest, sometimes being mistaken for the much scarcer "Western" Flycatcher in winter in AZ. Both this bird and one found earlier in the morning gave repeated soft 'whit' notes, which neither Pacific-slope or Cordilleran ever utter. DUFLs at this season often show a pointed rear eye-ring, similar in shape to the 'almond-shaped' eye-ring often cited to help i.d. "Western" Flys. Neither of our birds had any yellow on the throat.
