Détails de l'observation
Images. This Charadrius plover subjectively appeared larger, bulkier, and longer legged than nearby Semipalmated Plover. Also the breastband was significantly wider than all other Charadrius plovers. During the observation period, many high quality images were taken. The images show that webbing is present between outer and middle toes, and none is present between inner and middle toes. The images also show that the black facial band clearly intersects with the corner of the gape of the mouth. Near sunset, the individual called multiple times -- clearly articulated two-syllable "too-whee". The call was recorded.
