Détails de l'observation
Initially found by Coral d'Entremont who told Albert d'Entremont who told Ted d'Eon who texted me. Originally seen in Pubnico Harbour closer to Double Island and viewable from the Pubnico Legion. The birds slowly made their way north and eventually flew off towards the head of Pubnico Harbour where Mark & Sandra Dennis spotted it near Ti Paul's in Pubnico Harbour among Geese. All the Birds of Nova Scotia by Ian McLaren (current until the end of 2010) gives 11 reports in addition to the 50 that arrived in Kings Co. after a hurricane in 1948. There was one at Pembroke, Yar. Co., 3+ June 2012 and then another near Lunenburg 9-16 Jun 2013. So, these two are numbers 14 & 15 for Nova Scotia outside of the massive arrival of 50 in 1948.
