NOTES: (Breeding Status: Unknown. Special Song Type: Feeding. Gen. Climate: Dry. Cover Density: Medium.) BNA: Song "ho-say, ho-say ma-ree-ah". mf LNS note: The last 2:44 of this recording contained one or two very distant C. pertinax. It seemed to be a recording of a warbling vireo-type bird. I deleted it . mf [Well, the part that was digitized certainly represents the Song of this species (per BNA). Quality changed from 2-3 to 2 - CAM - 22 December 2004]. Response to playback: No response. Habitat: Coniferous Forest, Deciduous Forest, Stream, Riparian.
