NOTES: (Breeding Status: Territorial paired. Behav. Context: Annoyance, anxiety. Frequency of Sound: Agitated.) Nest 125 meters from road. It was in large shrub on left just before the Juniper tree also on the left. There were three eggs in nest--two white and one a cowbird's egg. The cowbird's egg was removed. Both male and female came to nest together and one sat on nest. Photos were taken of the nest. BNA: Song is heard ("chee-whee, whit, wher'r'r'r", "cha, cha, cha, or chee cha cher'r'r'r'r chee") CZ 18/03/2004. [Five songs representing two different song-types (one in the first part and another in the second part). There are also several "tick" calls given during the voice announcement (0:41-0:46).
