There was this ..... magnificent Short-toed Snake Eagle was soaring over the inland water body ... and adjacent fields ... looking for his first meal of the day ... There was this ... Black Drongo as well ..... nicknamed 'Kotwal' or Inspector ... He didn't like the presence of the Eagle in his beat ..... and attacked him in air ... making a body contact ... The Eagle slowly banked ... shrugged off the Inspector ... looked at us and moved on ... like an accustomed warrior ... Elevation: 216 m. Date added to IBC: December 17, 2018.
