Commentaires

three strong attraction calls during breeding season with cackle alarm calls between them. These birds thrive in the Rokko Mountain range but are not included in Japanese bird books. The cackle sound, GI GI, is its alarm call. We hear another colony with male voicing attraction call, also bush warbler. Hot spring day, 26C, lots of hikers on narrow paths being a Saturday and recent 4 days of rain. Elevation: 879 m. Date added to IBC: June 22, 2016.
